Almost 2 years ago I had the opportunity and honor to meet Alan November. The YIS BTG Committee is currently negotiating with November Learning to bring him as a speaker to BTG 2010. This year’s BTG 2009 (Bridging The Gap) was a great success with BarCamp Yokohama as a finale to the 2-day conference. I hope to post more about my experience as a co-chair for BTG 2009 and chair for BarCamp Yokohama 2009 soon. Thanks to Rick Martin for his post on Yokohama BarCamp! For a few days now I’ve been looking at videos that could best summarize the JASCD Try I.T. On Monday Workshops and entice teachers to come collaborate and enjoy the presentations in store.

One of them is called Learning to Change-Changing to Learn which features Stephen Heppell & Daniel Pink.

Yokohama International School had the opportunity to hear Dr. Heppell a few years ago at our annual Bridging the Gap Conference.

Daniel Pink’s book The Adventures of Johnny Bunko should be given at every graduation either at the high school or higher education level. What an eye-opener for teachers and graduates.
